Church Life at St Mark's

St Mark's has a strong sense of community, and has many groups that meet for prayer, for Bible Study and for fellowship together. 

We have developed a strong tradition in the arts, and regularly organise musical and dramatic events. We see this both as an expression of our faith and our service to God.

The Community Centre behind St Mark's plays a vital role in the life of both the Church and the wider community in Newnham.

Midweek Worship
Holy Communion is celebrated at 11 am on Tuesdays.

For Families with Children

For People who live alone Ploughman’s Lunches are held during the autumn and winter months on the second Wednesday of the month at from 12.30 – 2 pm in the Community Centre. All are welcome.

Preparation for Baptism, Confirmation and Communion
