Work will start on Monday 1st July to replace the small hall roof at our community centre and will last 7-8 weeks. The current roof has asbestos, we are unable to get onto the roof to clean or maintain it and we have had some leaks. We have scheduled the work for July and August in order to disrupt as few people and groups as possible. Most classes at the community centre will finish for the summer this week. However, there will be some disruption. Parking on the church site will be very limited for the duration of the work so please walk or cycle if you are able to. Due to the builders working overhead during the week, we have also decided that Toddles and Bumps to Babes will finish for the summer at the end of June, rather than continuing for the first couple of weeks in July as they normally would. There will also be no Messy Church in July or August. If you have any questions or concerns, please speak to Rachel or to Jeremy Whitton-Spriggs (as Community Centre Chair he will be overseeing the project).
