In light of the latest Church of England advice on Coronavirus, all church services at St Mark’s have been suspended until further notice.

Praying together when we can’t be together

During the week, various churches will be live streaming morning and evening prayer, and compline. Please do use these resources if you would find them helpful (please note, they tend to use facebook).  Local Churches doing this include Great St Mary’s and St Mary’s, Ely

Alternatively, why not simply go to the Church of England website and pray one or more of the Daily Prayer Services for yourself?  Rachel says, ‘one of the things I discovered when I was exploring ordination was the joy of doing Morning Prayer either alone, or with one or two others, but knowing that many thousands of people were also praying those same words around the same time.  I normally say Morning Prayer at around 9am so please do ‘join’ me.’

Please carry on praying and caring for one another, albeit remotely. It goes against all my natural feelings about community but we must act in accordance with the advice we are being given. For the time being, let us stay in touch, and keep praying.

Rachel will be doing some service using ‘Zoom’. If you would like to join then please sign up for our mailing list as details will be emailed out each week.
